Audi plans 5 new e-tron models with Chinese Partner FAW

AUDI is expanding its business activities in China. Together with its local partner FAW Group, the company has defined 21 key strategy areas in a 10-year plan. Audi will expand its model portfolio locally produced at FAW VW and enter new segments, including electrified cars. There will be five new e-tron models for China, with the first being the Q7 e-tron and A6 L e-tron.

With a new dedicated company for mobility and digital services, the two partners want to advance their joint commitment in this expanding premium business segment. Furthermore Audi and FAW will intensify their collaboration in financial services.

The agreement was signed yesterday (16 January) in Changchun by Rupert Stadler, CEO of AUDI AG, Jochem Heizmann, President of Volkswagen Group China, and Xu Ping, Chairman of Board of Directors of FAW Group.
